Tapatalk users - please note...

In response to some feedback today that Tapatalk has been misbehaving for some I have updated the Tapatalk plugin to the latest version.

Please let me know if this has either fixed the problem or caused any other problems!

Thanks,

Ian

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

Actually, just spotted what was probably the cause and now applied the fix, so I think it should work now!

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

Just to satisfy my curiosity I have enabled 'Monetization' for Tapatalk. If this does something bad at your end could you let me know? (I don't actually use Tapatalk, myself).

I have also enabled image uploading.

The stats show that around 7-10 unique Tapatalk users visit the site daily and that just over a hundred different Tapatalk users have registered on the e-group in total. It's roughly split 50/50 between iOS and Android users.

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

AND.. just used the 'broadcast' facility at my end to send a note to all the e-group registered Tapatalk users about the news in this thread

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

I use it a lot to read what's happening, but find iPhone keying a little difficult, so tend to use the laptop to reply.

It's a very good way to stay in touch when away from the PCs

I noticed that I had to login a few times of late...

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

Replying with Tapatalk, forgot I had installed it a while back! It is handy, as Graham says, for reading posts but I feel like I am on the outside looking in...

Ian - I am getting lots of requests on my ipads to log in all the time and also banners urging me to use Tapatalk - which I don't, and it is annoying.

I don't know why this should be happening unless you are clearing cookies after every visit to the site.

Is anyone here else experiencing this?

Ian

When was that? Or was it the iOS 7 update issue mentioned here?
