Montmartre pano

Went to Paris for the day yesterday on the Eurostar. This is taken from the front of Montmartre.

Not quite sure if I've got the colors quite right in this. Also has lost a bit of definition due to Jpeg compression.Still learning.

Had another go with slightly different settings and made it smaller so i did not have to compress so much.

Re: Montmartre pano

Hi there..

Nice looking shot, I imagine there's loads of detail in the original. We did exactly the same trip a couple of years ago - we went on a guided walking tour of Montmartre district. Excellent views from the top.

We spent our time in Paris playing "where's the Eiffel Tower". It is huge, so how come you can't see it most of the time?

Like you, I have had problems finding the right compromise settings to get a wide pano onto the Gallery here. I seem to run into the width limit and or the file size limit. Even when I thought I had the answer something in the Gallery handler reduced the file size for me.. Bit of a mystery at present.
