My DPNow blog challenge

Some of you just might be interested in what I'm doing over on DPNow.com; I have set myself the challenge to produce an original image taken on the day every day. Well, when I say 'every' day - work and other commitments might mean I miss the occasional day, but I started on Monday and have three photos up so far. Not all will be taken with Four Thirds and related kit but most will be. Here is Tuesday's:

This was taken using the E-5's Dramatic Tone Art filter and the ZD 8mm fisheye.

My blog can be found here:

Re: My DPNow blog challenge

It must be hard work committing to a daily photo blog but I think you have started off very well. I really like the texture of the sky.

I must use my 8mm more, it is languishing too much for such a lens.

Re: My DPNow blog challenge

Finding a fresh picture each day taken on that day is a real challenge. In fact I have decided to raid my archives for my photoblog..

Getting the pictures is bad enough, but finding something meaningful to write about is a further challenge. I am at 20+ days so far without a gap.

Re: My DPNow blog challenge

What a challenge, I've often thought about doing something like a 365 or even a 52 however I don't think I have the discipline.

I really look forward to seeing future images, site has been book marked.

Good luck with your challenge

Re: My DPNow blog challenge

Just had a look, Ian. I really like No 12. It may be highly processed but it's beautifully done and still has a natural look.

Thanks John - I'm sure I can get more out of the wintry landscape one, so will definitely have another go at that. It's an E-5 shot using the Dramatic Tone Art Filter plus some further processing, but I think I over did it in some areas.

This is an incredibly beautiful photo of Lara, Ian. The lighting, the expression & the background all add to the beauty of your daughters face.

Be careful not to blink for too long, they all grow up real quick & have left home before you know it.

Don't I know it... Lara's two years old sister is proof of that; but they are both a credit to the family thank goodness.
