Congratulations John!

Now I'd better start behaving!

Re: A new site moderator

Congratulations

Mind you I was always taught that the best way to get someone to behave was to give them responsibility

Congratulations and thanks John. I'll try to behave but if I don't it's probably because I once used a Canon and got into bad habits

Re: A new site moderator

Good news for John is that the forum is very well behaved, unlike some where the mods need a gum shield and a tin hat! Good choice.

Hehe.. I do agree though with this. I have to say that this is a excellent forum, and so far the site has got off to an excellent start.

We have a cracking membership on e-group; everyone is helpful, everyone is welcoming and we're all willing to offer tips and advice to those who seek. We really shouldn't forget either that we also have some excellent photographers on here too who have posted some stunning images; I am regularly bowled over at the quality of some of the images I see in the ever growing gallery on here.

So, long may this continue I say, and if there's anything I can do to assist anyone here... please shout... I'll always do my best.

Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments... but remember... a site is nothing without it's members...

Well said John.

Sorry I have responded to the original posting by Ian before but had too many distractions in the last 3 weeks. I am very pleased that you are a moderator on the site. Your views etc I respect.

Good luck in this role which should not prove to be too great an ordeal as we do have a very good membership.
