Re: Airshow season tips please
Since I started this thread, thought I had better reply! These are from RIAT on the Friday, the `little display day`. I also went on Saturday but that was more of a social visit with my better half so did not take the Mark 2. It rained anyway!
I was pleased with the results compared to my old Pentax days. Just to note: I shoot JPEG at the moment, RAW is my next learning route. The 75-300 is an excellent lens and of course so easy to handle compared to my previous 50-500 Sigma. Battery life was good- used up one just before the end of the day. I kept this very simple, just using shutter priority, a little exposure compensation, no Pro Capture. A bit of panning and mostly single shot. Oh and the 9-18 comes in to its own for the larger static shots. More than ever convinced that I made the right decision to switch to Olympus.
