Don't forget to vote, if you have not already done so.

Re: Can You Tell What It Is Yet?

This has not been the most popular monthly challenge so far but we still had a worthwhile number of entries and some very imaginative ideas - it's just a shame we only got 16 votes.

In joint 1st place we have PDK42 and JohnGG, each with 7 votes.

In joint 3rd place we have PeterBirder and dbutch, each with 1 vote.

Re: Can You Tell What It Is Yet?

Congrats to John and Paul.

Given the theme of the competition I feel that all those who posted should now add what it is in their picture (actually I remember Paul's from not that long ago but it was still worth voting for).

Re: Can You Tell What It Is Yet?

Wow, joint third that's a record for me.

My entry was mowing patterns in a wildflower meadow.

Regards.

Congrats to everyone standing on the crowded podium,
John for running the comp and all those who entered or voted, my shot was of a commercial auto gearbox, but they still don't know what that funny noise was...

Re: Can You Tell What It Is Yet?

Here, here!

My shot was of the rubber on the end of my "official" Olympus pencil where it is divited in the ally to keep it in place.

I bet Nikon supply roller ball pens rather than pencils.

Mine was waves and ripples on Lake Huron at sunrise.

Re: Can You Tell What It Is Yet?

Thanks for the votes! My shot was a moving walkway in, I think, Frankfurt airport. A long exposure taken with a fisheye lens and the camera balanced on the handrail.
