Using studio lights

Hi, I used my new OMD EM10 for the first time with studio lights yesterday and had a bit of a problem. I set the camera to manual and then f8 at 1/125. The problem is that it then closes the lens down to f8 and its is very difficult to see what you are photographing under the modelling lights, and it is only after you have taken the photograph that you can check it. Unlike a normal DLSR which does not close the lens down until you actually take the picture. Any suggestions

Re: Using studio lights

Turn live view boost on it is then clear as day when in manual mode whatever your setting.

Spanner > Display PC > live view boost > on.
