Body Scape - (nude)

With the weather as it is, I thought I'd try some indoor "landscape" shots

This is my first serious attempt at this style, done in a fully equiped studio.

Very nice. Excellent tones. It really has a landscape look. How did you convert the image to b&w. I recently developed an affection for Silver Efex Pro by Nik. Free tryout helped.

Wow Graham -

For your first serious attempt you have done so well.

Anne and I think it is so artistic - congratulations.

This time I used PS Elements 4 and simply Desaturated it. I do however like the Picassa2 effects that allows "real time" B&W conversion using coloured filter effects. It's great for viewing the difference between Green & Red filtration (very useful teaching tool)

Thanks for the comment

I think this is beautiful. I know nothing about this type of photography but I know when an image makes me go WOW and this did.
An excellent job - well done.
I will leave those who know what they are talking about to comment on the technical aspects.

Like Shirley I have little knowledge of this type of photography or how to produce it, but this picture really caught my eye. Looks very proffessional to me. Thanks for posting.

Wonderful shot Graham, absolutely wonderful. You have captured flowing lines, gorgeous shades, and above all... in my opinion you have captured beauty.

Cracking image and if this is your first attempt... I'm very much looking forward to seeing more.

PS: Who's the model...? Reason I ask is that I have floated the idea of a group studio shoot and we'd need models for that.

Re: Body Scape - (nude)

Maybe take out the bit of arm that is showing in the top RHS. The skin tones are perfect and the lighting across the body has been well captured. Again the shadows in the foreground are just a wee be dark. A very nice image indeed.
Well Done
