Is there an Oly? I meant the Panny in any case. Thanks!

Re: 20mm f1.7

Although I have not used the lens in question, I did at one point consider the option, thus enabling my GM5 to be truly pocketable. Having read a number of reviews it was clear that the MK II version was the better option in terms of focusing speed. Better than the MK I, but relative to the Oly 17 f/1.8 and the Panny 15 f/1.7 still quite slow. Based on my intended use for street photography I abandoned the idea and accepted the longer 15 f/1.7.

Re: 20mm f1.7

I've got one you're more than welcome to have a try out with if you want.... Haven't used it for a while it's my "I want to be discrete" lens, it is markedly slower to focus than the 12-40, but having said that I'd never noticed until someone on here asked for a comparison!

I think mines the MK1 (grey stripe) with is said to be marginally better optically but a slower motor in it! - I wouldn't know!
