Raising the ISO above 6400..?

I've had a quick look and can't find an answer, so how do you increase the upper level for the ISO ?

I've only just got my mk2, and so far have only had about 20 minutes to play - I expect I'll be asking a lot of questions soon...

I don't think you need to do anything special, Steve - just go into Super Control Panel, select the ISO field and keep scrolling to the right. When you go over 6400 it will say "Extension" but I don't think it will stop you selecting it.

Thanks John - I didn't explain myself very well. I want to be able to raise the maximum level in Auto ISO, and from what I've been reading it appears not to be an option...

As for the rest of the camera, I am slowly working my way through the menu, not sure how much will sink in first time, but I'm hoping, should my teenage girls ever wake up to go to the Eden Project today so may actually take a few pictures...!

Re: Raising the ISO above 6400..?

I have just tried mine and it seems that 6400 is indeed the upper limit for Auto ISO. If you want to go higher than that you have to set it manually. Unless anybody knows otherwise.

It seems strange to limit it on auto, when Olympus are clearly happy for owners to use higher ISO's in manual.
I wondered if it was me being my usual slow self, but clearly not - thanks for the reassurance Ron !
