Some B&W from December

It's been a while since I've posted on here, but a busy Xmas and an illness a week or so after Christmas laid me low for 3 weeks and apart from losing a stone in weight, I just didn't, wasn't able, or had any incentive to take a camera out....so these are from my day in London attending an Olympus event in early Dec. Hopefully now i'm fully recovered I can get back out with the camera...

Cheers

Peter

Re: Some B&W from December

Glad to see you are feeling a little better, nothing worse than illness and rotten weather for keeping you indoors.
Your third image for me, a nice sense of isolation, amongst all the background.

Nice set. The third, with the more distant single figure, and the more abstract surrounding, is my favourite.

Some of the potential is lost by placing the main interest dead central.

Interesting shots, you went to a lot of trouble to lose weight! Hope you are soon back to your old self and out with your camera.

Re: Some B&W from December

Thanks everyone for the kind comments, must try harder to correct the lean Peter !! All taken with the 17mm (great for street work) and straight from the camera, albeit cropped here and there. Hopefully i'm getting out at the weekend camera in hand. Glad to be free of the virus which apparently is going around at the moment (couldn't stop coughing)

Cheers

Peter
