The Vulcan at Goodwood Revival 2009

These were taken at the Goodwood Revival in 2009. Great to see a Vulcan in the air again, there's nothing quite like it

All taken with the E-3 + EC-20 + 50-200 SWD and tweaked in Olympus Viewer 2. Picture 1 is full frame, 2 & 3 are light crops.

Cheers,

JohnGG

Great shots - I finally got to see the vulcan flying again this year for the first time since I was a kid. If you've never read Vulcan 607 by Rowland White, I'd heartily recommend it.

I've not come across Vulcan 607, I'll see if I can find it.

Thank you

Nice shots, I especially like number 2.

I see the Vulcan quite often (I live next to the Cotswold Airfield), they seem to use the airspace to practise their displays on the way to and from shows. Whenever I hear those engines, I go out and stand in the field next door so that i can watch
