Olympus Repair "Care Pathway"

Sent the 50-200 to the Olympus Hub in Nottingham, it arrived yesterday. So I expect it will be then sent on to Portugal for the lens to be examined and a quote issued.

Question is

How long does it take before you get informed that the lens has been received and that it is on the "Care Pathway" and that they will want some money to proceed with the repair?

Thanks for any insite.

Re: Olympus Repair "Care Pathway"

I got a call /e.mail with a quote and was asked if I wanted to go ahead or have the kit returned in four days.

Re: Olympus Repair "Care Pathway"

Once the go-ahead is given the service is very quick - I think that I had to wait just under a week for the two occasions that I used the Olympus repair service.
My only issue was the wish that they would send out an email to confirm dispatch back to me from Portugal/DHL Hub Nottingham - maybe a bit of an ideal, but nicely reassuring when it happens with other companies.

Regards
Chris
