Reed-all-abardit!

A friend stopped me in our local supermarket late this afternoon "Hey Mark, I've just been reading about you in the paper".
I had no idea that the article had been published, I was interviewed by a Chronicle reporter a week or so back.
Anyway, the publicity is good and hopefully may help to sell one or two of my paintings!

Thanks Mark - if you lived closer I'd attend your clinic!

Thanks Peter. Whatever social capital I presently hold may be greatly diminished after announcing the handful of prize winners.

Unashamedly so - if you've "got it" then why not flaunt it, Andrew

Re: Reed-all-abardit!

Was it Citizen Smith or Frank Spencer (Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em) who always wore a beret? You may not have got the sitcoms in Australia.

Freedom for Tooting

Or

Ooh Betty....

Super. Mark just what you need before your judging debut ( ordeal?) now they will all know your skill base and hopefully show you the respect you deserve.
Enjoy.

David M they both wore berets at some stage. Watch out come the revolution!

The only version I saw of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em starred Michael Crawford who didn't wear a beret as far as I recall. The show was so painfully silly that I couldn't watch it. (I behave like that all the time and it isn't funny)

Yes Ed, you're right, the article did come at a most opportune time. Already the hits on my website have gone up. All very ego-fluffing but the real deal will be if any of my paintings sell. I have 5 paintings entered into another show that opens tomorrow night (Friday).
