Parking.

Before I got married I would just drive aimlessly around car parks because I had nobody to point out the empty spaces.

Re: Parking.

Now you drive methodically up and down every row so you don't miss a space?

Re: Parking.

I don't have a problem finding a parking space but SWMBO always finds one that is bigger, better, easier to get in to or nearer to the shop - just as we are locking the car.

That must be fake. They're on grass, their tyres will get dirty.

Edit. I suppose you could set them in place with a helicopter and put a square of astroturf under each tyre.

After a house, a car is the second most expensive thing that most people buy. You wouldn't think so in Supermarket car parks though would you?

I realise that cars are just a tool for some people, but others like to look after them and keep them for ten years or more.

Re: Parking.

Odd but true. Many, many years ago I read that the key to finding a parking space was to join the tips of your thumb and forefinger together when entering a car park. I found that it worked. Now, I don't have to do the finger trick, even my sceptical spouse reckons the times people leave a space just as we approach defies logic.

Have go, what's to loose?

Would a few dings make much difference to the value of a 10 year old car - except exotic super cars ?
I would rather spend money on an appreciating asset rather than a chattel that will be worthless within a few years.
Are you that person who parks across two bays to protect your manhood?
