Well there are two ways of looking at that. It could be a clever disguise, there could be a copy of the book Marx wrote, the name of which escapes me, inside the magazine.

Or it could be a capitalist plot, a brick and a piece of string were all a child of the Soviet Union would need.

Can't quite see, was the title Meccano or Mechanistic? Never been proved whether the whole thing was based on bent pieces of metal (with holes in), or a belief that automatons' role was to serve the State.
