Lazy camera store

Walking past an LCE branch in Bristol yesterday, I was astonished to see not one but two black Pen F`s for sale in the second hand section. Have never seen even one for sale second hand in a shop. Mind you, the shop had not put price tags on them- very lazy. Since mine was tucked safely in my bag, I walked on still surprised.

Re: Lazy camera store

I checked out LCE, they have a few, which is very annoying, as the prices are not bad, EG Pen F with 14-42mm lens, 699.99.

Re: Lazy camera store

The shop on Baldwin street (they have two shops in Bristol) has one available for 599

Even if you are walking in check thier website as they have very variable pricing across thier stores.

Re: Lazy camera store

When I checked out the A7iii and the Z6 at LCE, I was asked if I might trade in. So, I got some indicative buy prices from them. They were all pretty low ball, but the Pen F was proposed at 250 which raised my eyebrows somewhat (to say the least). The explanation was that they are hard to shift second hand. I personally took that as a bit of bullsh1t, but there you go.

I agree Paul. The best `feel good` camera in my experience. Handle it and love it in my opinion.

So annoying that I have just bought a body only for 599.99. Only 2079 images taken with it, now I need to look for a lens.

You can't go wrong with the 17/1.8, or the Panasonic 15/1.7 or even the Panasonic 20/1.7. The little Panasonic 12-32 is excellent too and very compact.

Of course, for the real Leica experience, get a Voigtlander 17.5mm f0.95!

Re: Lazy camera store

Camera arrived, well packed.

That's my EM1 MK 2 by the package it came in, to give scale.
Gotta play with it now, or maybe I will just sit and look at it:-)

Re: Lazy camera store

I trust all's well. I always remember ordering some small photo accessory from a mail-order store and a large package arrived. In my case, they'd sent completely the wrong thing - an electric drill as far as I remember
