OM lenses: 21 F3.5, 28 F2.8, 28 F2, 35 F2, 50 F1.2, 100 F2.8, 100 F2

Phew tried to fit all in one heading! Gorgeous mouthwatering collection of beautifully made Olympus Zuiko manual lenses to make users of other systems jealous....

Olympus manual OM lenses. All in excellent condition. I'll suggest sensible prices, please feel free (not too free...) to correct me if I'm far out. I've tried to price a little lower than Ebay and still be fair.

All lenses are operationally and optically perfect with no oil on the shutter blades, positive clicking aperture blades, smooth well-damped focusing rings, no damage, no fungus. Great for full frame (e.g. Sony or 5D) though some obviously are stunning lenses on micro four thirds or four thirds with the appropriate adapters.

Olympus 21mm F3.5 in very good condition. Some light user wear to body. With original Olympus case: 235.00

Olympus 28mm F2.8. Excellent near-mint. Very underrated lens: 49.00

Olympus 28mm F2. Excellent near-mint. Boxed, case, original Olympus metal hood. A gem for A7 users...250.00

Olympus 35mm F2. Excellent, near mint, 70mm F2 portrait lens on Micro Four Thirds. How nice is that...?! 150.00

Olympus 50mm F1.2. Near mint, bought from Simon Bee a couple of months ago. Serviced, cleaned, lubricated adjusted by Luton Cameras this year and still under guarantee: 360 (this one is also on Ebay at a much higher price in case I get lucky with some mirrorless user out there...!)

Olympus 100mm F2.8. Very good condition. The lettering on the body seems to be slightly duller than usual. I haven't attempted cleaning it but nothing affects its' operation. This was my portrait lens of choice on OM SLRs but I also have an 85mm F2 and the extra stop may be useful to me (maybe not but I have to keep one) 100.00

Olympus 100mm F2. Ultra ultra rare. The only other one on UK Ebay is up for 850. Bought from Simon Bee when I bought my 50mm F1.2 from him. Serviced and guaranteed by Luton Cameras. Has a JJC lens hood and 2 lens caps. The original sliding metal lens hood is in place but was loose so a carefully applied bit of black insulating tape works very effectively to provide enough resistance whilst maintaining its' sliding ability. Almost completely unnoticeable. The original part is no longer available. 550.00

I love these lenses but my purchasing eyes and love for Olympus gear makes me but cameras and lenses I often never end up using. When something has sat in my cupboard long enough I undoubtedly end up selling and could do with the money for other things at the moment.

I am in Buckhurst Hill which is on a tube line and on the borders of East London and West Essex. I will be in Ely, Cambs this Sunday if anyone is near there. Payment by paypal if you don't mind paying the fees or bank transfer or the old favourite, cash on collection. I can send more photos but meanwhile here are a few pics.

Must resist... must resist...

Back in the day the 21 f3.5 and 35 f2 were my favourite lenses on the OM4, and I always hankered after a 100 f2.

Everey so often I think I'll get out the OM film bodies and use these tasty lenses but I've become a "lazy digital Photographer".

I also wanted to explore the lenses with a Sony A7 but I've just got too many systms and too much gear hence the cull...

However some of this is a panic sale based on a possible big purchase of something related to one of my other big interests and I have a feelling I won't go ahead with that as it would be one of the least sensible things I've done for a long time.

In that case keeping the Oly gear won't exactly kill me!

Mal.

Your set of lens is soooooo tempting. Must resist as well. Need to follow my head rather than my heart for the time being.

Good luck with the sale!

Hi Mike

I'm interested in the 2OM 8 F2. I don't have enough postings to send you a private mail. Could you PM me and let me know what is still available?

Cheers
Alastair
