....this memorial and the poor soul whose life it commemorates have lost all their identity - no name, no date and no local knowledge!

Yes slightly sad it's forgotton and damaged but obviously the snowdrops love that spot. It's almost like nature is giving the grave an identity. The lichens and moss seem to be outlining a face and clothing the stone. Lovely shaded light.
