Giving up Tobacco :-)

Happy New Year

I figured today would be a good day to post this subject on my blog

http://snaarman.blogspot.com/2011/01...p-tobacco.html

(Shameless plug of blog) I wonder if there are any others out there that had this dark habit in our pasts :-)

Meanwhile, if you are planning to give up smoking I wish you well. I know of several examples of successful quitters who have stayed quit permanently. It can be done..

Pete

Re: Giving up Tobacco :-)

I hate the look of the Tobacco grad filter. You see them often on the BBC's Countryfile series and it looks so unnatural, why would anyone want a blue sky to look brown

Never used them and never will.

Never used tobacco filters but have used filtered tobacco cigarrettes in the past. Gave up around 17 years ago, one of the best things I ever did.
Trouble is, I still feel the draw sometimes if someone walks past me smoking a fag. Other times the smoke is unpleasant to me. Weired.

Hi Pete,
I have added myself as a follower. I am learning that this blogging thing can become as addictive as tobacco

It will be 10 years in September since I gave up. I used patches, had no idea that I could get them on NHS, cost me an absolute fortune! Giving up was more expensive than smoking.

Re: Giving up Tobacco :-)

Hi there..

I've returned the compliment

Welcome to the world of photo blogging. Which is worse? Finding a fresh photo or two every day, or finding some words to go with it...

One thing - it probably makes you seek out more and better pictures, which can't be a bad thing.
