Lightbulb Video tutorial to help with uploading to the photo gallery

I've been experimenting with video clips and here is a four minute clip that helps newbies get up to speed with the e-group photo gallery.

Let me know what you think!

http://e-group.uk.net/video/e-group-...p-gallery.html

Next I will produce a clip to show how gallery images can be added to forum posts.

As these are Flash videos, you will need Adobe Flash installed and enabled in your browser, as well as Javascript.

Would have been great except for Pinky and Perky playing Snap loudly in the background ---- unless only on my system?

Re: Video tutorial to help with uploading to the photo gallery

No obvious Pinky/Perky here - but at this time of the year I'm practically deaf in one ear, eyes half gummed shut and spending a fortune on tissues.

Should do the job.

Good idea - but the sound is definitely a problem. I get this sometimes with cover DVDs on mags. I wonder if it's a Flash problem?

Alternatively, have you been sniffing helium, Ian?

Now that's very strange - I'm now hearing the sound problem too, but it wasn't there earlier...

Will investigate!

Re: Video tutorial to help with uploading to the photo gallery

There do seem to be some documented problems with flash audio recordings. I will make some adjustments and re-record the tutorial in due course.

In the mean time, here is a video showing you how to get your gallery images into forum messages - it sounds OK on the computer it was created on, so I'd be interested to know if the sound is still pinky and perky at your end:

Cheers,

Ian
