Re: Flash Bracket

I modded the FP-1 for the E-M1 and it is very good!

Re: Flash Bracket

What modifications were needed for FP1? TTL cable is standard, surely, although the trigger cable looks to be a special - is that it?

And what's the reflector 'card' with meaty fixing belt?

Very nice results, indeed.

Re: Flash Bracket

Piers,
yes, the TTL cable is the standard FL-CB02. The mod is to add a 2.5mm jack socket and then fire the camera with a 'triggertrap' standard lead via the FP1 button. The reflector card is a standard item with the FL-50/R.
Regards,
Andrew

Re: Flash Bracket

Bloomin' obvious now I look at your photo, innit? I used a pair of Triggertrap cables with 2.5mm sockets on each end of a short cable to achieve the same for an E-5 (seen any RG-1 cables recently?).

The FP-1 is worth every penny if you can gey one at a sensible price. Saw one offered on the auction site starting at 99p but the seller withdrew it before I could bid :-( ... cost me 25 in the end.

Must give some thought to modifying an OM PBG-2.

Piers
