That's amazing!

What camera settings do you use to capture these images? Never having seen the northern (or southern) lights, I have no idea how bright they are

IR filter removed E-620, 11-22 @ 11mm f2.8, 30 seconds ISO 400 then use PS to mangle

Now hold your breath while this loads



ISO 1600 4 sec

It shows how the aurora is not stationary

It also shows a feature of both my E-620s...they are a little less sensitive at the bottom of the swnsor

Fantastic pictures! I got the aurora warning from space.com, and instantly our night sky was covered in thick cloud and stayed like that all night.
