A couple from tonight's sunset

The heavy showers/thunderstorms of the day subsided for sunset and gave us some stunning cloud patterns and colours:

Couple of lovely shots Paul. No#2 just edges it for me with that shadow in the windmill.

Hi Alf - the windmill is open this weekend so they've put up some stairs for access. Access to the mill itself was closed when I got there, but I might go back today and take a look inside.

The first for me by a small margin.

I just asked as I think the figure added to the shot and wondered whether it was just timing or set up. Nothing wrong with either IMO.

Did you take a shot with the sun coming through the stairway?
