50-200 ED (non-SWD)

I'm thinking of selling my 50-200 as a prelude to getting either the 40-150 + TC or the 300/4 (if I can afford it!).

So - it's in excellent condition - optics are perfect and the body is in great condition. There are a few scuffs on the hood, but the lens body itself is almost pristine. It comes with the tripod foot and case, but I don't have the original box. It's the ED (non-SWD) version. This means that focus is a little slower and noisier than the SWD, but some say that in fact its IQ is a little better than the later SWD version.

Price wise - I'm not sure what they go for these days. eBay prices are all over the place - I even saw one listed for 1300 I guess I'd be happy with 250 incl RMSD. Let me know if you're interested.

I'll post up some pics later.

Great lens. It's perfect for butterflies, especially with the 1.4 converter. I can't imagine ever parting with mine.
