I was a wedding photographer, it was at least three rolls per job and that was using 120 roll film. I had a pal who helped and he used my 35mm stuff, he used to think is was a machine gun!!

The cost of film didn't enter into it, that was passed onto the customer, it took forever to sort them out. But than again, it did with digital.

There hasn't been much discussion about aesthetics - colour is good, but I'm not too sure about digital B&W without the expense of a Bayerless, eg the M246.

In my mind, B&W film is the gold standard and that sets the benchmark for digital - whether it's quite reached it yet (leaving the M246 out of the equation) is open to debate.

I'd love to see examples of digital B&W claiming to match film, especially from a u43 camera.
