Update of firmware...

I understand from on here and searching that to update a E-1 firmware and lens you require Olympus Viewer. My secondhand unit came with Master and the camera is at 1.4 with two lenses at zero.
Can anyone confirm that it is Viewer I require and where a copy might be available as I have just scanned the Olympus site without success....

Regards.

Re: Update of firmware...

You need Olympus Viewer to update the E-1 and lenses etc. Your problem is becoming more and more common with E-1s coming on the market when people upgrade to newer bodies. If I remember correctly Master will not update the E-1.

I take it that your E-1 didn't come with the CD-ROM.
