We can have a wet on the wall.

and we did ,to quote the Fog on the Tyne by Lindisfarne.

The wife and I have been in Northumberland for a few days.

Taken last Friday at Peel Crags on Hadrian's wall.

We took a right soaking, think it's wettest my E5 has ever been but no damage.

Re: We can have a wet on the wall.

Nice moody pictures showing the bleakness of the area, especially in poor weather.

Thumbs up Re: We can have a wet on the wall.

As the kit becomes more and more robust, we get less so

Great atmospheric captures, you have there.

As a Jock who climbed over the wall, I often wonder if it was worth it? It's just as bad living here in the present day

Re: We can have a wet on the wall.

Good shots, like a portrait of the wall, which is to say that they give a feel for the subject better than "regular" sunny day photo's.

Re: We can have a wet on the wall.

Great atmospheric shots - it is boring always having blue sky and sunshine, isn't it!

Listening to the long range forecast yesterday, we are promised another month of this! Let's hope that is a way-out prediction. I think the answer is to lift the hosepipe ban nationally. It's rained here almost every day since it was introduced, with the exception of one superb long weekend at the end of May, which would, of course, have been the Bank Holiday weekend in any other year!

Regards,
Ann1e
