Re: The mighty 12-100

Yes, my default travel set with the M1ii is now the Laowa 7.5, the 12-100 and either the PL 15 f1.7 or the 17 f1.2.

If itís an urban trip or it involves Ďeventsí of some sort I usually substitute the Panny 12-35 for the 12-100.

Blimey Paul 8s you must have stopped breathing! I've done 2-3 seconds and thought that was good. Either way its a really impressive capability.

I guess the shots above were in very good light then, as they don't seem like high ISO.

You must have very steady hands if you can get sharp shots at 8 seconds! Can't imagine stabilisation would do it for that long! Also - even in landscapes - don't you get subject movement (e.g. wind moving trees) in 8 seconds?

You do some brilliant landscapes; I often admire them.

Re: The mighty 12-100

I assume that's at 12mm/8mm or thereabouts, Paul?

I've had a good success rate around 1/25th at 100mm (and 1/40th with the 300mm, but more reliable at 1/80th), but I haven't tried any slower. Anyone else?

Re: The mighty 12-100

Sounds like a challenge coming on. Who can post the slowest sharp hand held shot? How slow can you go?

That's a great idea! I'll post a challenge up and see what we can all do!

Re: The mighty 12-100

Think I am a bit shaky for that challenge, but you are selling the 12-100mm well Paul.

Am thinking about it, but suspect I will stick to the 12-40 pro and 40-150 pro...
