Only Me?

Seems that there is only me out there with an E-450. Surely not.

So down to me to show off some snaps with this great little camera, using kit lenses.

All taken today. Some in less than ideal conditions.

Re: Only Me?

The E-450 is rather unique as it has the 10MP sensor, but the later TruePic image processor that the E-30 and E-620 have. Back to back comparisons with the E-420 show that the E-450 has noticeably better high ISO image quality.

Re: Only Me?

Make that three!
I too am a member of RCMF, so I saw yuor thread on whether to get the E-450. Alas I didn't get it at the bargain price you did, however I did find the twin lens kit for around 370, which puts Amazon prices to shame.

Re: Only Me?

Welcome.

It is a great little camera.

Check out any of my threads on RCMF that have photographs, and they will all have been taken with the E-450.

Re: Only Me?

I'm not a E450 owner, but enjoy nice the photos. While we are in the middle of winter here (Australia), it's interesting to see snow falling in the NH in the middle of summer.

Re: Only Me?

I have one of these and it seems to work pretty well. It was more than enough to take most of my holiday photos, and I've had good results with gig photography and portraits.

Re: Only Me?

Hi All,
Just acquired an E450 after much deliberation. Got mine from Argos outlet via ebay for 199.99 inc.courier delivery which is an amazing price. My first foray into dslr photography so still ploughing through the manual

Re: Only Me?

I got a bit of shock when I looked at the snowy pics taken 'this morning' here in Norfolk and then I noticed the date. I had forgotten that this camera ever existed but it is interesting to see the fine images that it takes. In the Olympus tradition of small cameras which punch well above their weight.

Re: Only Me?

Welcome Mike.

I love my little E-450. Has done me proud over the last couple of years.

Lots of good advise on her.

Re: Only Me?

Hi

I have had my E-450 for a year now (last years Christmas present) I love it! I have spent this year playing with the settings and getting into good photographic habits. I am going to write up a wish list of shots for next year.

Re: Only Me?

Looks like I made a good choice then. Might save up the pennies for the longer zoom lens!!
