External Flash Connector

Just returned from a walk, and guess what - no external flash connector cover - despite not using the external flash.
Have e-mailed Olympus, but why why why could they not have used a cover that stays attached to the body as per the USB and DC in covers.
Really annoying.

Re: External Flash Connector

If you mean the one that goes on the flash shoe, I quickly lost the one on my E500. When I queried Oly U.K. about a spare, they said that they are not available because it has 'no useful function' AIRC!

Re: External Flash Connector

If you really want one try Luton Cameras. 4.99 and 2.50 postage.

Re: External Flash Connector

Thanks. May try Luton Cameras but the one I want is the threaded cover on the front that covers the socket for a sync lead.

Re: External Flash Connector

Until you get the proper one, maybe one of the rubber covers that go on the smaller terminal of some PP9 batteries might fit.
