What have I done??? Help.....

I have somehow got the super control panel permanently switched on, over a grey background.... I have no idea how, but want it off again! I cant use the screen at the moment apart from reviewing pictures and shooting video! I'm hoping its a setting I've inadvertently activated and not a fault

Also another quickie if you can help - With the above lens will the IBS over-rule the lens stabilisation automatically? if not how do I turn the lens stabilisation off?

Thanks
Chris

Re: What have I done??? Help.....

Chris, there is a setting in one of the menus to set which stabilisation takes priority, lens or camera. I can't get to my camera just now so can't be more precise - sorry!

Re: What have I done??? Help.....

Thanks Iain, I've made sure the Lens IS priority is off.

Are you talking about an electronic or hard copy manual? I don't have one

Thanks
Chris

LOL! Olympus user manuals have never been great and don't seem to be getting any better, but they did once provide printed versions with the camera.

Re: What have I done??? Help.....

My E-M10 Mki only came with a quick start guide, the full manual was a PDF on a disc.

There is an eBay seller who will send you a printed manual, I got one for my E-M10 Mki and it's OK. Very minor irritation is the way Olympus set up the PDF the page numbers are in the spine not at the edge which I mentioned to the seller so he/she may have fixed it.
Still haven't read it all though

Here's a link to yours from that seller - if it's not permitted mods please delete - my only link is a happy customer.

Re: What have I done??? Help.....

Olympus will do a printed manual for 13. See https://shop.olympus.eu/UK-en/Manuels-man-1.htm (care with the spelling here as it is "Manuels" and not "Manuals".

The one for the E-M10ii is marked as "available soon" if you add it to your basket and then view your basket.

See my post http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showpost...5&postcount=10 for an indication of the size, binding, and printing.
(The link in that post http://shop.olympus.co.uk/e_commerce/Manuels-man-1.htm still works but now takes you to the address in the link at the top of this post.)
