Kew Gardens Experience Day

Hi

Anybody else going to the Kew Gardens experience day for MKII per-orders on Wednesday?

This forum member will be there to spread grumpiness to the masses

Re: Kew Gardens Experience Day

Had great day at Kew on Wednesday thanks to Olympus. Picked up a number of hints and tips on using the MKII and generally really enjoyed the day.

Olympus looking after it's customers very well indeed. Full marks to them.

Also met Mrs T, along with Mr T, albeit very briefly at the end of the day.

I don't think I was grumpy at all. Olympus must have put something in the coffee

Hope anybody going to other experience days has an equally good day.

Very well done Olympus.

Good to hear, must find out what was in that coffee or did you touch any of the plants?

Seems you are becoming a mkii expert, will have to bombard you with questions, that will get you grumpy again.
Watch this space for developments re a mkii

Definitely no expert

Always remember the definition of an expert.
>"ex" is a has been
>"pert" is a drip under pressure.
> I'll leave you to put the two together.

Re: Kew Gardens Experience Day

Interesting. Are these days only for those that Pre-ordered the Mk2 or does anyone know if Olympus will widen the net a bit to other owners in the future?

This round are for pre-orders only I believe.

I would have thought the economics of it would mean that in order to widen the net they would have to be charged.

So that restores your grumpiness then?

I did approach a couple of gentlemen to ask them if they were Grumpy Hec, one didn't' hear so well and thought I said Grumpy Hack. He did admit to being grumpy though! I chose the ones that looked grumpy, and you didn't seem grumpy at all!

However briefly it was nice to meet you!

I agree, Olympus did a great job.

To those asking, have a look on the Image Space website as I did see Kew Gardens being advertised for those who had bought the E-M1 II. I guess the other locations/ambassadors may be more sought after.

Sadly that is all too easy these days.

All I need to do is look at the aggression, conflict and potential conflict both in the UK and the world in general.

The triumph of strident opinion, often centred on ignorance and/or narrow self interest, over considered discourse based on evidence, fact and some consideration for others is dragging us all to a period of division and potential conflict, again both in the UK and the wider global situation, I cannot recall fearing as much in my 63 years to date.

Yep. That's done it. I'm grumpy again.
