Done that too...the reason I have no shots of Caernarfon Castle. Strange, that was an OM4Ti as well. When I got home I went out and bought a dark bag so I could open the camera and check the film in the field.

Oddly enough, I was checking over my OM4Ti today, and wasn't sure whether I had left any film in it. (It was FP4 so it wouldn't really go off.)

The counter was on 14, but I had to turn the rewind knob quite a few times before it firmed up. I very nearly opened the back, so that was a close one.

Not every day will deliver spectacular light. Your friend with his watercolours can imagine and produce whatever light his mind can contour.

You have to work with what is available on the occasion you are out. We can not always choose this.

The key is to shoot what you like and enjoy it. Being out and shooting is good IMO even I get nothing good.
