I agree, the Tories are doing the dirty on themselves. As the EU have said, this is it, no change, but there is more to life than Brexit. For staters, wages a third less than in 2008 according to one report.

I had the misfortune to turn on the Radio and hear Tony Blair giving his answer to Brexit. I only heard part of it which was about immigration, making to appear that he was obsessed with it. That would be so unkind!

Re: Political: We're doomed, Captain Mannering...

On Q Time last night, David Davis was spot on, the EU should have been pushed to the wire if we were in any hope of a ‘good’ deal. As it is we’re heading potentially for a very bad deal, worse than being full EU members.
Even the left winger Rayner said a second referendum would cause further divisions. She should know as a former trade unionists high up in the ranks.

That's inevitable unless it was to go 100% one way. Can't see any other options available now.

Wait? Heís got an open goal fercryingoutloud, wait??

My point is that given the Tories are in total disarray then Labour should be reaping the benefits but they clearly arenít. They should be literally soaring in the polls and in with a chance of a landslide victory if an election was called, but they arenít and probably wonít. Blame JC, he should have stuck to the back benches where he felt comfortable, but wasnít very good there either for many, many years. Iím not backing the Tories by any means itís just that there is no opposition from any party. Over the years Iíve voted for them all. Waste of time, likely to spoil the ballot next time, for the first time in over 40 years. Political lightweights the lot of Ďem.

From my POV: I think ATM he's scared. If he were to bite the bullet it might just back-fire. If this is the case, he can afford to wait. As things stand, he really doesn't have much to offer as everything has been if-ish.

I can't honestly say I've heard anything that could be nailed down other than - I can get a better deal? If so, what is it? Everything he has said so far, ends with a ? mark. Corbyn, like Blair, is a shark, he just doesn't have such pretty teeth.

Bottom line, JC wants to be PM and, much like all the other porky pie sellers in waiting, his ambition(s) are his first priority. In that respect, he's no different from any of the others.

At the end of the day, who do you get to vote for, JRM, BJ, MG etc., or JC?

Not much to choose from, scraping the bottom of a cess-pit in not a pretty thought.

As I said... just my POV.

Itís true, JC does not have very nice teeth, but there must be something about him the ladies go for, it must be his personality. Of note, he had a fling with Diane Abbot and he has been married 3 times. We know he is against a second referendum and he says he would be leaving out the back stop completely. Is he running scared? Should the government fall, he will have a chance to prove his worth.
