Which Maritime Museum, Merseyside? Hard to tell from this fuzzy image (which I actually quite like).

Ah thank you, I'm amazed that someone likes it

Yes, it's the Matime Museum at the Albert Dock. Very good too.

Fuzziness is technically diffraction and it comes in bucket-loads with a pinhole 'lens'.

Re: Three young ladies at the Maritime Museum

I was in Liverpool this last weekend with my wife and friends. Spent much of our time in the docks area as it is so interesting. Enjoyed the Lusitania and Titanic exhibitions in the Maritime Museum and also the Double Fantasy (John and Yoko) exhibition in the Museum of Liverpool. Liverpool is rather good.

Why not just buy a Canon or Nikon?

Re: Three young ladies at the Maritime Museum

Yes, Liverpool’s great.

I like Steve’s image a lot. Yeah, it’s terminally unsharp, but doesn’t it give a fine impression of the scene which is all about the light rather than the substance?

If I was being hypercritical, I find the glazing bar rising out of the middle girl’s head a bit distracting, but I won’t be.

Re: Three young ladies at the Maritime Museum

Yes indeed the glazing bar annoys me somewhat, but beggars can't be choosers. I snapped this one as a fail safe, then waited but they turned and drifted away - probably to the Titanic.

Edit: One can hardly see anything in the LCD screen just prior to capture; there may be a boost setting somewhere in the depths of the menu settings, but it's so deep, much deeper than the Titanic in its resting place.

Re: Three young ladies at the Maritime Museum

I quite like it too Steve. Definitely well worth capturing as you have, the fuzziness makes it work in my opinion. I'm sure if it had been sharp you would have deleted it for being boring.
