Thumbs up for the 14-42 EZ

Used today with a Pen F in a very humid butterfly house at Berkely Castle, Gloucestershire. Pretty chuffed with the close-up results. A brilliant little lens in my opinion. A great `carry around` if you do not want the extra weight of a 12-40 on 12-100 PRO.

A great little lens IMO too
I was surprised by how nice the manual focus is on it too in fact the nicest focus by wire lens I have used.

Re: Thumbs up for the 14-42 EZ

How does the IQ compare with the 12-50 between 14 and 42 if anyone has both. I have the 12-50 and although its very versatile, I am hankering after something a bit smaller for my Pen F.

This lens is part of my travel light kit along with the E-PM2 and the cheap 40-150. Just the job.

I have both and I like them in different situations and I happy with bot and I have not compared them much. I use mine the E-M5ii and I like it on the E-M1 with grip it is hardly noticable. I carry it when I am out shooting macro as it is harldy noticable in the bag.

Here is what a search on Flickr comes up with it starts with picturesd of the lens is shots with the lens.
