Re: Paris skyline

I like Paris a lot.I took a very similar picture but from the top of the Arc D'Triomphe.
I'm guessing you must have been out at Sablon or towards La Defense.

Edward as always thanks for looking and your kind words.Andy I'm impressed it was taken from the Concorde LaFeyette looking down Ave.de la Grande Armee had I shot the opposite way it would have been down Ave.Charles De Gaulle toward La Defense.I love Paris I'm there again in 10 days.

Re: Paris skyline

Lovely shot, a nice mix of heights, and old/newish buildings there

I like skylines, despite a fear of heights I went up the Empire State Building to look at the New York skyline

Re: Paris skyline

Iain,
Super picture of a wonderful city. I'm jealous.
Just a thought. Have you considered cropping off the lower edge - to eliminate (most of) that ugly modern block at the lower LHS? Losing that and some of the sky to rebalance the image could leave you with a more panoramic style of view of 'iconic' Paris.
