Good entry as usual. I cannot post on July 1st, so as it will be no surprise, the comp finishes on Saturday night, and let the voting begin on Sunday....

Re: June 2018 Photo Challenge: Reflections
I took some shots whilst out yesterday. On reviewing them this afternoon it looks like some have some interesting reflections in them, purely by chance. Pity we are only restricted to one entry and I have already put one up.

Re: June 2018 Photo Challenge: Reflections
I wish we had half a dozen votes to cast rather than just the one as there were so many good entries.

Re: June 2018 Photo Challenge: Reflections
Imagine six entries and six likes allocated, one awarded to each image. The result will be 'flat' response without a winner, but on the plus side everyone will get top marks.

Re: June 2018 Photo Challenge: Reflections
Well done Steve (Wreckdiver). This photo makes you stop and think; was it a similar feeling before you took the shot?
Well done to everyone else for some magnificent and very worthy shots.

A lot of thought and planning went into taking the shot. I knew what I wanted to achieve but also knew that I would have a very small window of opportunity to get the shots. The image was made from 7 bracketed photos to capture the full dynamic range of the light, from the shadows to the light through the stained glass the range was quite large. It took some time and meanwhile the crowds were building; I started as soon as the cathedral opened. There was one woman who saw what I was doing and deliberately stood right in my way to be awkward and got quite nasty when I asked her to move (politely). Taken with my E-5 and the 11-22mm lens - metadata was lost in the PP. Done with Photoshop and Photomatix Pro. Well done to all the other entrants, some excellent shots. I am proud to have my photo chosen as the winner. Thanks to all, Steve
