Timelapse software

Was taking a timelapse sequence yesterday, with the camera being unattended.

Alas the battery failed close to the end of the sequence, to shut the camera down I had to remove the battery.

Thus the Oly camera timelapse software was unable to complete the video.

Can anyone recommend software for me to complete the timelapse??

TIA....

Mj

Re: Timelapse software

If you have the individual images, then Olympus Viewer 3 will put them together in a similar way to the camera.

Please let us see the results.

Re: Timelapse software

Picasa is quick and easy to use for this, and it's free.

Re: Timelapse software

Open the folder with your files, select all the ones you want in the video, click on time laps movie, click preview and play around with settings to your satisfaction eg frame rate and then select folder and file name and format and press save. Works a treat.

Re: Timelapse software

I had a battery go flat during a timelapse on my EM5 mk1. I swapped battery between frames as soon as it ran out. And it just continued on to the end without a hiccup, amazingly.

Fortunately I wasn't the star of my time lapse. The Sunset was. So I was standing there with a spare battery in hand watching it as the battery went flat.

Re: Timelapse software

I have done in camera timelapse but then processed the RAW files in Lightroom and assembled in Viewer 3 to make a more polished result.

Results here http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=43506
