Re: How much do you really know...

I scored a miserable 5/12.

Re: How much do you really know...

I used to live there till recently, and I only scored 4. I suspect most native Scots would score a similar low count.

Re: How much do you really know...

I think I got the first three right, but went severely downhill from there, only getting one more.
I disagree with them on the proportion of scotland used for agriculture though. 75% may be owned by farming concerns but it's not planted

Re: How much do you really know...

I got 8 - mainly due to rather creative guessing. I could claim that that it was because my grandma was half-Scots, but since she popped her clogs 50+ years ago I don't think that would hold up!

Re: How much do you really know...

Only 7 - I should have watched the programme and learnt more about where I live!

I only scored 7, mind you I last lived in Scotland in '76.

Re: How much do you really know...

Another 4. With large areas of Scotland under forestation, moorland, or above the tree line I was not expecting the amount devoted to agriculture. I can't say that I actually knew any of the answers but some were well educated guesses and some just guesses.

Re: How much do you really know...

Didn't watch the programme, but having lived here all my life I still hoped I'd do better than a pathetic 5/12.

Re: How much do you really know...

I don't feel quite so bad now, having seen some of the scores you Scots are getting!

Re: How much do you really know...

I managed 6. Half-way house or hedging my bets with one foot in each camp.

Left Scotland in 1959 and moved to Ireland, to be sure, to be sure.

Then emmigrated to England 3 years later and have been going downhill ever since.

Re: How much do you really know...

Blinking heck. I guessed at most and got 2. I probably live too close to get a clear picture.
