Lowe Pro Flipside 400 Backpack.

Like some other members on here I seem to have acquired over time an excess of camera bags. Having slimmed down my gear recently due to age its time for some to go. First up is a Flipside 400 backpack. Its brand new, never been used, so if anyone is looking for this type of bag PM me. Its a bit big to post so would prefer a halfway meet if that suits. Looking for 40. Regards to all, Ian W.

Re: Lowe Pro Flipside 400 Backpack.

I've got one of those (that I should also move on) & it is a good bag for some gear (1 to 2 bodies, tele lenses & flashes etc) & convenient for changing lenses without putting anything down. I think that is a good price for someone looking for one.

It is called a Flipside, and Ross the Fiddler says that facilitates changing lenses without having to put anything down. How does that work? I looked at LowePro website but is doesn't show that.

Re: Lowe Pro Flipside 400 Backpack.

Hi Dave, It gets the name Flipside due to the fact that you slip off the shoulder straps with the waist strap still attached and twist the bag towards you so the front tips down allowing access to the rear zippered compartment housing your camera gear. It sounds a bit of a faff but its quite practical from a security point of view. If your interested I'm open to offers, all the best, Ian W.

Re: Lowe Pro Flipside 400 Backpack.

Hi again Dave, Hope I explained the bags features properly. Might be a demo on YouTube for a better idea. I bought it as a job lot of four different Lowe Pro bags from a guy on Gumtree and the only one I use is the 180AW.{ Soon to be listed here} The Flipside holds a huge amount of gear, is brand new and has just sat in a cupboard since the day I bought it. Leave it with you Dave, all the best, Ian.

Re: Lowe Pro Flipside 400 Backpack.

There are loads of videos on youtube about these bags & certainly will carry a fair bit of gear as well some personal requirements (lunch, drink etc).

I have sold a few of these larger bags over time, and use large poly bags, available at Amazon, and use Hermes couriers (they are not expensive) to ship them.
If you fancy doing this, my wife would like to buy this one.
