Hire popularity chart

Just for fun, I thought I'd show you which lenses and other items were the most popular so far:

= 1. 150 f/2 (3 hires)
= 1. 35-100 f/2 (3)
= 1. 300 f/2.8 (3)
= 4. EC-20 converter (2)
= 4. 7-14 f/4 (2)
= 5. 8mm fisheye (1)
= 5. FL-50R flash (1)
= 5. 70-300 f/4-5.6 (1)
= 5. 50-200 f/2.8-3.5 SWD (1)
= 5. EC-14 converter (1)

I'm quite surprised there hasn't been more interest in the 7-14 (though we had to turn down one person because our only 7-14 was already out on the days he needed it for) or the 14-35 f/2, but it's still very early and awareness of our service is still growing!

There is a good level of interest in the top-pro telephotos, though - except for the 90-250!

Re: Hire popularity chart

That's good news!

I wasn't sure that the scheme would take off so well. It should be even better when the weather picks up.

A number of people have reserved lenses for May, June, and July

Re: Hire popularity chart

We even have a serious enquiry for a booking from a company in Spain wanting to use the 90-250. The shipping charge is almost as miuch as the lens hire but I do believe it's still good value compared to most Canon and Nikon hire rates.

Re: Hire popularity chart

I have a hankering to try the fisheye - could make some good panoramas from the mountain tops here. What would the postage be to Switzerland?
