Did not go inside as they were having Sunday Service there.

Re: Cont'n of short trip to UK- Stratford-upon-Avon

fortunately my short day tour included the entrance ticket.

A bedroom

Fireplace in another room

A Storeroom

A lady talking about those pouch/pockets medieval rich carry their money in.

With my phone increasing in size, that may come in handy as it won't fit into my pocket anymore

A pretty lass showing off her Hamlet skills

That concludes Stratford-upon-Avon.

How you managed to get Shakespeare's backyard so empty of tourists I'll never know. Maybe you are just a wiz at Photoshop .

Henry,

having a pipe organ in the Guild Chapel is not so surprising when you think that the Guild of the Holy Cross (which amalgamated with the guilds of Our Lady and St John Baptist in 1403) was effectively the local government in Stratford until the Dissolution of the Monasteries.

After Holy Trinity, Coventry, you seem to have acquired a taste for medieval wallpaintings!

I guess over in the far east, a pipe organ is not something one see. That Guild Chapel is a very small but long space. It had only 3 rows and having a pipe organ on one end..well I guess it's like in the churches over in M'sia, having an electric keyboard is already considered blessed. Not many churches have a grand piano either.

Wait till you see those stain glass collection I accumulated from the trip

Quite apart from all the photo's which I've thoroughly enjoyed, I am truly amazed at what you managed see in such a short time. If you're not a Time Lord in disguise then I think you've found the secret to time travel.

Once again, many, many thanks, for what has been a truly informative armchair trip of your travels around England.

Not a time lord or traveler. Many thanks to Phill D, who practically gave up a whole day taking us around.

The rest was a tourist trying to get his monies worth in squeezing in as much as possible in the limited time.

My travels this UK includes (coming up next Oxford), Stonehenge and parts of London.
