I caught a repeat of Licence To Kill last night and I'm sure Bond asked for a vodka martini. Was this sthe film you were thinking of Hec?

I think the drink first appeared in Dr. No and was sponsored by Smirnoff. Ready to be proven wrong on that one.

So which vodka brand is sponsoring the new film?

Interesting choice. I always thought the baddies drove black Mercs?

Unfortunately Jag drivers seem to have earned a reputation for being caddish, flirting with waitresses when taking their wives out for a meal, and forgetting to take their wallets with them!

Oh, I thought he might be driving a Kia Cee'd this time to keep costs down. I suppose bullet holes are probably excluded from the 7 year warranty though, so it is understandable.

Well, if the Jag goes into 'Restricted Performance' mode then Bond will have no problem catching him.

(Jag drivers will understand.)

I can't imagine Bond driving a family car. He might not make a great father. I can just imagine him saying:
"Little children should be shaken, but not stirred!"
