Isle of Man TT

I had the privilege of going to the IOM TT for work and got ahead of the start line by the tv crew. Here are a few shots taken with my OMD and 35-100mm hand held. Great combo and some definitely came out better than expected.

James Hillier gets the lightweight going. He went on to win and broke the track record twice despite slowing to come into the pits.

This is the first Chinese made bike to enter the TT.

James being presented with his trophy by Charley Boorman

John McGuinness launches into the senior TT. He won the race and equaled Joey Dunlop's twenty win record.

Guy Martin enters the fray.

My favourite shot. The first Norton to enter the TT for some time. Both bikes finished so hopefully we will see more of them.

And another panning shot.

Hope you like them. C&C welcome.

Not a fan, but I can appreciate excellent work, and you have some crackers here.

Re: Isle of Man TT

Good position you had for the start line shots. The panning shots particuarly the Norton has worked well.

Not exactly a media pass. My company sponsored the lightweight TT and we managed to get access for the senior too. A great spot for watching and photos.

Excellent. I like the contrast between the 'battle hardened' starter (with ear defenders) and the 'dolly' (without). A photo of the two without bikes would be interesting. You were in the right place for panning. I don't know how it couldl be done on the fast bits.

Isle of Man TT

Indeed. A bit harder when they're doing 190mph!

I had a chat with the bikesocial girls from the first race. Seems they we're pretty deaf after the start! Pity the two by the start of the senior. Loads more bikes and much louder! That Norton sounded amazing.
