Most popular Images

Dear lan,

I really appreciate seeing how many times a particular photo is viewed, but I wonder at the real value of the "Most Popular Images."

. . . could you post the number of times an image has been viewed right on the 'Most Popular Images' frame? -that way we can see how many times it has been viewed without clicking it and giving it an extra view?

. . . we can boost the number of views by repeatedly viewing the same picture - would it not be possible to limit the number of votes one person can give to an image, especially his own?

Best regards, and happy new year,

John.

Re: Most popular Images

Perhaps rating is a better basis than viewings? I might view it but not like it for example, however if I give it a high rating then it must be good
I really like the random images to to give exposure to new/other images.

Re: Most popular Images

I try and comment on at least three images each day and I enjoy the way in which to decide. So whilst I'm on i'll look at those random images.

Byeee.

Re: Most popular Images

One other idea is to only count the number of views over the past month towards the most popular images.
