4/3 on m4/3

There is a 9-18mm 4/3 in the for sale area I am interested in. I have the adapter to use 4/3 on m4/3. Anyone got experience of using this lens (4/3) on m4/3?

Re: 4/3 on m4/3

Sapper -

I'm no expert, but in my m4/3rds research, I found that the 4/3rds 9-18 is one of the few CDAF 4/3rds lenses which (it is said) makes its focussing performance "better" with m4/3rds than with the 4/3rds PDAF lenses. And by the way, I own the 9-18 and consider it a thoroughly underrated gem.

Yes Dave I've used my 4/3 9-18mm on the EM-5. It focuses a little slower than the M4/3 lenses in my experience, as expected but that's not a problem with the type of subjects you use a wideangle for. I'm not planning to replace mine with the M4/3 equivalent it's a beautiful lens.

Regards.
