A day at the zoo

A selection from a trip to South Lakes Safari Zoo today...

All on OMD E-M1 with 50-200mm SWD.

I like these. Surely the caption for nr.2 should be "They cost that much!".

I love the facial expressions of the Lemurs and you got a great angle on the gibbon.

Thanks. This was Sunday afternoon 30th November. The light was superb for about an hour before the sun suddenly dipped below the treeline.

The lens and camera combination looks very very good, It's almost tempting to buy one instead of saving hard for the new 40-150, the clarity is extremely good...

Yes.

And the RAW files are still better than these JPEGs show...

f course the new MFT lens is f/2.8 at the long end whereas this lens is f/3.5 at 200mm...

Successive releases of E-M1 firmware have improved its capabilities. I was nearly letting it go with the initial E-M1 release because AF was so poor...

Now I'm very happy with the lens and kind of regretting selling my 1.4x multiplier to Brian... (Ha! )
