Re: One more for now...

Love the curve of the bridge but not so keen on the magenta sky.

Re: One more for now...

Was it filtered or is that how it came out in the processing? Around 30 years ago there was quite a vogue for similarly coloured skies.

Re: One more for now...

Like John I notice the sky, though it's not displeasing.

But you've captured a lovely shape in the curve. Works well as a black and white too.

Re: One more for now...

Love the curve of the bridge. The sky is a noticeably different colour than is usual, but as Nick says, not displeasing. It could perhaps be warmed up by changing the white balance if you want a warmer feel. Not too much, though, just to calm the magenta.

If I may comment on a suggested improvement, I would have liked either to see the branch that is now halfway in the foreground either removed or used as a foreground interest by using it a bit dramatically in the front. There is a danger of it taking too much attention from the bridge, though. Where it is now, it is a little disturbing. Only a little, though!

Re: One more for now...

As it's in perfection, then yes there is something strange about the colours, not only the sky but the grass is a fluorescent emerald green, now I know the grass is green in Wales but not that much.

I disagree with Catherine about the foreground, the line and direction of the branches leads you from the bottom left of the foreground through to the left of the bridge then the curve of the bridge leads you to the sun rays on the water.
So for me it works well, as it does what a good landscape composition should do and lead your eye through and around the image, without those branches the fore ground would be redundant and your eye would go straight to the sun rays.

Re: One more for now...

Seems I'm outnumbered but I still don't like the sky! Here's a quick and dirty rework, it's not perfect but it gives an idea of how I would like it to look if it were mine.

I agree with Paul about keeping the branch in the forground, something is needed as a focal point in that empty space and it also acts as a counterbalance to the bridge. However, unlike Paul I don't have a problem with the colour, saturation or luminosity of the grrass, but then, I have been to Ireland!
